well all we talk about is...
just read a text from a blog. I quote;
;end of quote.
well, I thought that it's much truth in it, sure, but still it's also kind of sad. A girl in my class asked me a couple days ago if I celebrate- and if we had something special on Easter. it was not very hard for me to answer, really. it was a simple no. that kind of no I wish I didn't have to give her. I mean, we do celebrate easter. we have meetings in church and we eat lots of food and we have chickens and eggs all the colours of the rainbow just like everyone else does. but still I feel like no was the wrong answer on the question.
I'm kind of angry that, well I know that not everyone is but still, all sweeds and sweden as a country are so lame. haha, I'm so nationalistic! but isn't there a truth in it? I mean, the main norm in Sweden is that everything should be so natural. everything from your apperence til your way of thinking. and also I believe our culture. Sweden is a lame country "culturelly". some of us don't even know why we celebrate easter and then sweden has celebrated it for a very long period of time.
so, when she asked, I would like to have a much better answer. I told her though about the dinner and the meetings and about my dad reads from the scripture. but still Easter is no longer special to us. I hope that this Easter will be more special to me. so next time I can say, YES. because I know that easter is one of the most important days in my life. Jesus died for me that day and changed history and then he rose and changed history and most important my life and everybody else's lives. Now I want to change history.
